developments in science across all fields, as well as some other fun
science and non-science bits and pieces! If you have any suggestions

- A sceptical look at good and
bad science in the news each week
- In Our Time
- In-depth discussion on different theme each week, often
including science topics. This link takes you to the whole archive
of science themed episodes since 1998.
- The Infinite Monkey Cage
- Science/comedy chat with Brian Cox, Robin
Ince and guests.
- The Jodcast
- A podcast about astronomy including the latest news,
what you can see in the night sky, interviews with astronomers and
more.
- More or Less
- More or Less tries to make sense of the statistics
which surround us.
- Security Now
- A podcast about internet security issues, but has many
fascinating mathematical insights - in particular the excellent
series of episodes 30-37 about cryptography
- A Brief History of Mathematics
- Ten fifteen minute podcasts that
reveal the personalities behind the calculations from Newton to the

form on iTunes U - the link will take you to one of several courses
that are available
- This lecture (availiable in several parts; link is to part one)
gives a nice mathematical discussion of the issues surrounding
population growth and resource consumption
