Hello and welcome to my web page. Hopefully it will contain everything you are looking for but if not feel free to contact me. I am currently a PhD student at Bristol University studying Astrophysics. I am looking into the properties of high redshift galaxies only 1Gyr after the Big Bang.
Astronomy
My PhD work centers on using the Lyman Break technique to serach for very high redshift Lyman Break galaxies. I have used deep optical and near-infrared imaging, taken as part of the EDISCS survey, to create a catalogue of z>5 galaxies in 10 separate fields. I am now in the process of obtaining spectroscopy of these objects to confirm their identification and obtain redshifts.
