Some History

I was born in Cardiff, went to nursery school in the Heath area, then Bryntaf primary school (which no longer exists) and then to Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf. After a degree in Physics with Astrophysics at Manchester University I went to work in Liverpool Museum Planetarium before going on to do further degrees in Edinburgh and in Department of Physics and Astronomy, Cardiff, where I also worked as a Starlink programmer for a while. I am now part of the Bristol Astrophysics Group.

Over the years I have worked for many other organisations, I contribute to Radio Cymru and S4C on astronomical matters. I also worked for Techniquest doing presentations in their inflatable planetarium and the Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) as a translator. A long, long time ago, I worked for Clwb Ifor Bach (aka The Welsh Club).
