Research

My main research interest is H-Alpha surveys of the plane of the Milky Way. In particular the INT Photometric H-Alpha Survey (IPHAS) in the North and the Southern H-Alpha Survey (SHS) in the South. I am using both these surveys to search for new planetary nebulae (PN). In addittion, I try to keep up with developements in the fields of evolved giant stars, particularly Betelgeuse, and high resolution imaging techniques.
