Popup menu

If you activate a popup menu on one of the displayed nodes in the tree display (this is normally done by pressing the right mouse button) you will in most cases see a menu which offers you two types of option:

Reload

This forgets what it knows about the node in question and its children, reloads it. It can be used to refresh information about the state of an object which has changed since it was first read by Treeview. Note: reload currently does not always work for HDS-type nodes.
Alter-egos

The remaining options present different ways of looking at the node. For instance an NDF file may also be considered as an HDS container file or as a normal file. By selecting one of these, the node will be replaced by the alternative view.
Some types of node cannot be reloaded or viewed as alteregos in this way - you will get a beep rather than a popup menu in this case.
